HALL OF FAME: Robin Marino, group president of LF USA’s fashion accessories and home division, told WWD she has always thought of herself as a “behind-the-scenes” girl. That will change tonight when she is honored at the Accessories Council’s annual Hall of Fame Tribute event at 91 Horatio Street in Manhattan’s West Village. Prior to joining LF USA, Marino served as president and chief executive officer of Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia Inc., president and chief operating officer of Kate Spade and senior vice president of accessories worldwide at Burberry.

Accessories Council president Karen Giberson cited Marino’s “ability to thrive in diversely different companies and environments and her ability to increase a brand’s success and importance through simply visionary work and ideas” as deserving of recognition.

Past recipients of the award include Elaine Gold of Elaine Gold Enterprises, Mary Belle of Jones Apparel Group, Marge Axelrad of Vision Monday and 20/20 Magazine, Dorothy Roberts of Echo Design Group, Ruth Finley of Fashion Calendar and Abbey Doneger of The Doneger Group.
