YEEZY THE STOIC: Kanye West returned to his habit of supporting British designer Louise Goldin from the front row on Saturday afternoon at Milk Studios. The pair reportedly collaborated on West’s line in 2011, and, last September, West returned the favor, sitting front row at Goldin’s New York debut with girlfriend Kim Kardashian. On Saturday, he arrived solo shortly before the show started, and made as subdued an entrance as is possible for a musician who named his most recent record “Yeezus.” “Yeah. I don’t do interviews,” he said after taking his seat and dutifully posing for a photographer or two, after which he was left entirely alone in the minutes before the show started.
All those years of press standoffs have paid off, it seems. Goldin’s show soundtrack ended with “Yeezus” standout “Send It Up.” If West acknowledged his own work at all, he kept to himself, leaving the head bops and mouthed lyrics to the editors around him.
