Front Row at Diane von Furstenberg

Sheryl Crow, Jessica Alba, Allison Williams, Nicky and Paris Hilton and Barbara Walters sat front row at the spring show.

CROW CALL: “Diane is like the first rock designer for females,” Sheryl Crow said, sitting patiently at Diane von Furstenberg’s show on Sunday at Lincoln Center. “She’s in her own category.” The sentiment was largely echoed down the line of fellow notables seated front row — Jessica Alba, Andy Cohen, Barbara Walters and Diane Sawyer among them. “I’ve always loved her clothes,” Allison Williams said. “She understands not only the woman’s body but the female spirit and I love that.”

Further down the way, Nicky and Paris Hilton hammed it up for photographers. The latter then graciously posed — hand on hip, of course — with fans despite handlers’ attempts to shove them away. “She’s done! Sorry folks,” a security guard said, his arms raised to shoo away the shutterbugs. “Must have had my hand in all those shots,” he chuckled.
