ROLLING STONE: Low-key at Cavalli? As if. To celebrate the opening of the new Just Cavalli store in Milan, the designer transformed the Galleria Del Toro, where the unit is located, in a packed nightclub with psychedelic lights, dry ice, house music and cocktails aplenty.

A live performance by Italian rapper Marracash ignited the event, which also saw Anna Dello Russo taking the stage to dance and lip-synch her improbable hit “Fashion Shower,” recently associated with the stylist's promotional video for her accessories collection for H&M. Then New York singer Azealia Banks raised the bar with her energetic mix of hip-hop and electronic sounds.

Cavalli arrived with Sharon Stone and her boyfriend Martin Mica, who had walked the Just Cavalli show that same morning, sending photographers into a frenzy. The actress and her boy toy, frightened by the crowd, fled the store less than five minutes later.

“We have to go. It’s dangerous for me here,” confessed Stone to Cavalli, who followed the actress outside the party venue.

Once back in, the designer spoke to guests from the stage in his usual outspoken manner. “This is the Just Cavalli store and here I want only cool clothes and ‘ragazze fighe,’” he said, employing a colloquial term that roughly translates to “foxy ladies.”
