A smattering of models, television actors and DJs filed into Nicole Miller’s spring runway show Friday night to check out what the designer described as an “Eighties surrealist art-inspired collection, which includes “digital nature and sci-fi.” Oh, and techno, too. “It’s really fun and really light,” said Misshapes DJ Leigh Lezark, who had previewed the collection in order to create the music for the show. “I think the music encompasses the Nicole Miller girl.” Lezark, who also worked on the music for Zac Posen’s show on Sunday, is gearing up to DJ several fashion parties this week, as well as produce the music for events during the various fashion weeks in Europe. “We’re going to all of them with a one-day layover in Russia,” she said with a smile. “I don’t even know what day it is.”
Tinsley Mortimer, Katie Lee, Jessica White, Holland Roden, Mia Morreti and India de Beaufort snuck in before the lights dimmed.
