WARDROBE CONUNDRUM: Among the familiar faces in the front row of Haider Ackermann’s show in Paris Saturday was his close friend, Tilda Swinton, accompanied by her artist boyfriend, Sandro Kopp. Swinton caught up with other guests, including Japanese painter Setsuko Klossowska de Rola, dressed — as always — in a traditional kimono.

Swinton was in town to perform in “The Impossible Wardrobe” at the Palais de Tokyo from Saturday until today. “There’s a performance, living and breathing, but also a very beautiful film made by Katerina Jebb, which will be projected outside the performance for three days,” said the British actress, wrapping her arm around Jebb backstage after the show.

The project is the brainchild of Musée Galliera director Olivier Saillard, and the film, titled “The Future Will Last a Very Long Time,” shows Swinton moving about the fashion museum’s storerooms holding historic archival garments. After that, she will take a break from filming. “I’m on to a big old nothing,” she said. “A big old piece of blank sea."
