Shiny, mirrored, Plexiglass lips dangled from the ceiling, as models strutted down the runway, wearing color-coordinated specs by Google. Called Glass, the new accessory looked akin to a sporty monocle or something Arnold Schwarzenegger wore in "The Terminator," but this creation incorporates technology such as video recording and hands-free texting, which is a Fashion Week-must.

"What is it," asked Oscar de la Renta, who sat next to a mobbed Sarah Jessica Parker and a sunburned Andy Cohen and a few seats down from Valentino and Giancarlo Giammetti. "It sounds very interesting, but I haven't heard anything about it."
