A trip to Capri and Turkey led Trina Turk to her spring collection. “I was inspired by the Aegean Sea and the Mediterranean and all their shades of turquoise,” she noted. Prints are a staple at the brand and were this time used on a bold striped tank dress, a strapless number in multicolored swirls and on some abstract minis and caftans. Turk rounded out the season with a “country club coquette” theme, evident in tailored jackets and ladylike dresses. She also showed swim, Trina Turk Residential (home) and Mr. Turk (men’s). Her husband has designed the latter for nine years and for spring it opens to the wholesale market for the first time.
