The fashion pack was out in force at the Givenchy after party Sunday night. Guests such as Gisele Bündchen, Naomi Campbell, Liv Tyler, Ne-Yo and Benicio Del Toro packed into restaurant and club L’Arc to also fete the 20th anniversary of Dazed and Confused magazine. “I arrived two hours ago from Stockholm,” said Johan Lindeberg, designer and founder of label BLK DNM. Having just opened a store in Stockholm, the designer said he plans to launch a scent later this year. Sky Ferreira, who has been a front-row fixture at the Paris shows, took to the microphone and sang to a vibrant crowd.
A number of guests were flitting between parties in Paris.
“I am going to check out Dsquared,” said Poppy Delevigne, who had earlier in the day wrapped a photo shoot with her younger sister for W magazine.
Across town at the Dsquared party, designers Dean and Dan Caten celebrated their new Paris store opening their own way. That meant a party at the Ritz, complete with twin acrobatic male pole dancers and a dance routine by four smoky-eyed men wearing bellboy hats, sleeveless shirts and skintight black leather pants. “I love how this party is so personal to Dsquared. It’s hard to transform the Ritz, but this is so them,” said model Natasha Poly, pointing to balconies draped in green vines — and the pole dancers. Poly just finished guest editing the November edition of Spanish Vogue, an experience that taught her “another side” of herself, and the pressures of publishing.
