Poppy Delevigne was expecting the worst, weather-wise, outside Yigal Azrouël’s show at Highline Stages Friday afternoon. “It’s rather hot,” Delevigne said of her black knit dress in the blazing sun. “I was kind of expecting it to be raining.”

Hanneli Mustaparta looked breezy in a long green dress, excitedly greeting Delevigne and admiring her cheetah-print studded Louboutin sneakers. “It’s working with the weather,” Mustaparta laughed, turning to photograph an arriving Julie Macklowe and Kate Schelter.

Lauren Remington Platt had switched out of a long Yigal dress for a short cocktail version. “I knew I’d be way too hot,” she said. “I’m happy to be in this.” And how was her Fashion’s Night Out? “I was hosting an event with Carolina Herrera, so I didn’t have to move much, thank God....The foot traffic alone was crazy. But my makeup artists from Vênsette were at Ferragamo, and I was sneakily trying to coordinate….”

She mimed holding a cell phone at hip level.

“And we had so many clients,” she went on. “There was one mix-up, and my God, have you ever seen a woman waiting too long to get her hair and makeup done? It’s scary stuff.”
