This was one stop in a busy weekend for Hilfiger, who showed his men’s wear at the High Line’s Chelsea Market Passage Friday night followed by an after party with Interview magazine. Then on Saturday, he’s driving a second daughter to Rhode Island School of Design, where she’ll be a freshman, followed by a drive Sunday with a third daughter to boarding school. Then it’s back to New York City for his Sunday night women’s show.

Hilfiger’s wife, Dee, is no slouch, either. She’s about to launch a handbag line with HSN in March under the label Deesigns by Dee Ocleppo. The concept allows women to change the covers and have different bag styles, along the lines of “Build-A-Bag,” she said. “You choose the handle and the color and the cover,” she added. She is making these bags in a licensing partnership with Tiger J, which does lines for Rachel Zoe, the Kardashians and Queen Latifah. Meanwhile, upon leaving the Nahm show, WWD overheard on the elevator that Madonna was doing a fashion shoot upstairs in the Penthouse.

Meanwhile, the sun setting on the High Line at the Tommy Hilfiger men’s spring runway show didn’t seem to bother Kellan Lutz. The actor wore a three-piece tweed suit. “It just looked so good, you gotta force it,” he said of his gear. Everyone else in the park seemed to be sweating as much as the bottles of Brooklyn Lager being passed by waiters. Lutz was not.

“I was big time,” he explained. “I was beading it, but some sweet lady dabbed my forehead.”

Ah, the perks of being Lutz?

“It was my mom actually,” the actor said with a laugh before taking his seat alongside James Marsden and Ed Westwick. Theophilus London sat at the next table in a Nineties vintage Tommy Hilfiger button up. “I just bought this 30 minutes ago,” the singer offered. “A friend of mine has a men’s store where men sell their clothes to him and he sells them back to the public.…I had 20 minutes to spend because I knew I didn’t want to stand here waiting for the press.”
