Front Row at Issa London Spring 2012

British singer and music executive Tinchy Stryder said he’s thinking of doing a women’s collection himself.

TINCHY’S TURN: British singer and music executive Tinchy Stryder, who took in the Issa London show on Saturday, said he’s thinking of doing a women’s collection himself. Stryder, whose real name is Kwasi Danquah, already has a men’s clothing brand called Star in the Hood. “If there’s one thing I’ve learned about fashion it’s that you have to pace yourself and leave your customers wanting more,” he said. Stryder, whose early mentor was Dizzee Rascal — they both hail from East London and have roots in Ghana — has a new single due out on Nov. 7 called “Off the Record,” which has been produced by Calvin Harris.
