GREAT EXPECTATIONS: At the Fendi show in Milan, sisters Bianca and Coco Brandolini D’Adda were joined by Ambra Medda and Delfina Delettrez, who said her new jewelry collection — to be unveiled in Paris on Oct. 29 — was called “Love is in the Hair.” “It’s inspired always by movement and by these new techniques and this new material that I discovered,” she said. Backstage, Karl Lagerfeld was wearing a flat silver neckpiece by Delettrez under his signature high collar — a birthday gift from the designer, daughter of Silvia Fendi. Meanwhile, Elizabeth von Guttman and Alexia Niedzelski are preparing for the release of the second issue of Ever Manifesto on Oct. 5, Ever Bamboo. For the occasion, Gucci will release a special Bamboo handbag designed by fashion students as part of a project developed with W magazine editor-in-chief Stefano Tonchi. “The winning bag got produced by Gucci and will go on sale at selected Gucci stores worldwide,” von Guttman said.
