HOLLYWOOD ITALIANO: Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana may have channeled Sophia Loren, Italian beauty, style and tradition for their spring show, but the guest of honor at the designers’ signature show on Sunday was Hollywood’s own Scarlett Johansson. The voluptuous Johansson caused a diva-worthy paparazzi frenzy outside and inside Dolce & Gabbana’s Metropol theater. Shielded behind oversize glasses, Johansson’s arrival could have rivaled any of Loren’s La Dolce Vita moments. Wearing a nude lace sleeveless cocktail dress from the spring-summer 2012 season, she was quickly ushered in and bodyguards cordoned her off.

Johansson described her next career move to WWD — and it’s not an average girl-next-door role.

The actress has just hung up the cat suit costume she donned in her role as Black Widow for the superhero film “The Avengers,” based upon the Marvel Comics team.

Coming up next, Johansson starts filming “Under the Skin” in Scotland. Directed by Jonathan Glazer, the film is an adaptation of Michel Faber’s darkly comic sci-fi novel of the same name and also originally set in Scotland. Johansson plays the lead role, described as “an alien on earth, disguised as a mesmerizing woman who uses her voracious sexuality to scour remote highways and desolate scenery to snare human prey.”

The actress, who fronts Dolce & Gabbana’s perfume and makeup ads, last attended the designers’ show in February 2009, when the company launched its makeup line.
