Backstage at Trussardi Spring 2012

Faces were understated, complimented by a range of real girl hairstyles - from ladylike to rocker.

MILAN - At Trussardi, a range of real girl hairstyles - from ladylike to rocker were employed.

 

"Every girl is her own character and there's not one same look for everyone," said hairstylist Paul Hanlon.  

 

Products such as Tigi Bedhead Superstar Queen For A Day Thickening Spray and L'Oréal Elnett Extra Strong Hold Hairspray were mainly used.

 

TIGI Bed Head After-Party Smoothing Cream was applied so that the ends would look separated.Faces were similarly understated.

 

"We want shadow, shine, and gleam, but nothing noticeable - you don't want to discern an eyelash or lips or anything like that," said makeup artist Lloyd Simmons.

 

Nude foundation was applied and eyes were mainly done in beige-brown tones.

 

Highlights in gold were dabbed on the inside corner of the eyes.MAC Lustre Drops in Sun Rush was blended with the Revolution eye shadow on the cheeks.

 

Mascara was black or brown, depending on the girls’ complexion. The mouth carried a light coating of Homeoplasmine.
