For the sporty urban look at Max Mara, the face was primed with MAC Cosmetics Face and Body Foundation, liberally brushed with MAC Prep Prime Transparent Finishing Powder for a sporty shimmer. Cheeks — in MAC Powder Blush in Holographic Orange and Peach — were fully covered. Eyelids and cheekbones were highlighted with MAC Tendertones in Hush Hush (available in 2012 worldwide). Lips went gloss-free with MAC Lip Erase, a type of nude concealer.

“Nothing on the eyelid except a little caramel gold gloss — also on the bone structure to create a sweaty look,” said makeup artist Tom Pecheux.

“We’ve got dreadlocks backstage — it’s urban sporty but still chic,” said stylist Luigi Murenu, citing Bo Derek’s iconic hairstyle from “10.” The tightly twisted locks of hair were created with John Frieda Frizz-Ease Moisture Barrier Hairspray and Spray Volumnizer.
