A 'Red Wine Flush' at Giles

Lips were stained to give a natural red wine flush, is how makeup artist Lucia Pieroni described the runway look at Giles.

LONDON — “It’s like when you’ve been drinking red wine and you have this gorgeous burgundy-stained lip and this natural red wine flush,” is how makeup artist Lucia Pieroni described the runway look at Giles.

 

She rubbed MAC’s Brick and Burgundy lip liners in the centre of the lips and then blended them with a cotton bud.

 

For cheeks, she used MAC’s Russian Red lipstick applied with a fat brush, finishing with some clear lip balm on the cheekbones and eyelids. Hairstylist Paul Hanlon had hair falling over the shoulders.

 

It’s like fresh, out-of-the-shower hair — just like when you wash it before you rush to the office and you let it dry naturally,” he said.

 

Hanlon used Toni and Guy’s Label M shampoo and conditioner and then blow-dried it using a diffuser.
