Pallid Faces, Graphic Hair at Emporio Armani
Bobbed, blonde wigs helped define Nineties aloofness at Emporio Armani.
MILAN - Bobbed, blonde wigs helped define Nineties aloofness at Emporio Armani.
Hairstylist Franco Gobbi customized each model’s wig with a graphic cut, generally short in the back with long tips and bangs in the front.
Alfaparf Semi di Lino Diamond Cristalli Liquidi Illuminating Serum, an Italian beauty product used for texturizing hair before blow drying, was saturated through he roots of the wig and worked down through the tips.
Hair was mussed up to give it a sporty, windblown look and then locked in with hairspray. Most models wore straw boaters.
Eyes were graphic, alluding to the black-and-white palette of the collection. There was little else on the face other than foundation and a toned-down lip to enhance a pallid complexion.
