Unsuspecting as ever, Harmony Korine and Sonic Youth’s Kim Gordon caught United Bamboo’s show Saturday a few seats down from another rocker, Karen O. Gordon has a new gig with Sportmax. The capsule collection of dresses and T-shirts is now being sold in the company’s West Broadway store in SoHo. (She also whipped up two limited edition creations for No. 6 boutique.) When the subject turned from fashion to music, Gordon singled out Talk Normal as a current favorite. Despite taking the year to decompress, The Yeah Yeah Yeahs’ O said she would be doing a surprise performance at a fashion week party but demurred when asked where. Her seatmate, Humberto Leon of Opening Ceremony, was excited about the flea market he helped orchestrate for Fashion’s Night Out at the Ace Hotel. “We wanted to make it a shopping event and we sold out of a lot of things,” he said.
