Front Row at Narciso Rodriguez

Courtney Love declared her love for the designer.

Narciso Rodriguez brought out some heavy celebrity hitters to his front row Tuesday evening, who offered varying degrees of volubility on their love of the designer. Sarah Jessica Parker arrived just in time for the show’s start and a few choice photo ops. Claire Danes was as succinct as they come on her loyalty to Rodriguez, saying, “He’s one of my dear friends and he’s also one of the most gifted people I know,” although she was later overheard telling a friend: “He does a mean bias.”

But Courtney Love was, unsurprisingly, effusive, showing her adoration of Rodriguez in more ways than one. “I love him very much. I just saw the first look [backstage] which I am so wearing to ‘Wall Street 2.’ Seriously. It’s beautiful,” said the singer, who had a preview of the looks minutes before the show. “I was walking around backstage topless — they were fixing my top — and André Leon Talley walks in and was, like, ‘What are you doing?’”
