'Double Life,' Photography Exhibition

“If you know your subject, you take better pictures,” Lisa Eisner said Wednesday at the opening of her photography exhibition in collaboration with Fay, the Diego Della Valle owned apparel label.

 

Dubbed “Double Life,” the show featured snaps of Rosanna Arquette with daughter Zoe, Lake Bell with her mom Robin, and Gina Gershon sporting pieces from Fay’s new spring line, intended to emphasize the collection’s ability to span generations and lifestyles.

 

The capsule jacket collection was unveiled, too, including Giles Deacon’s final mini-line for the label, three versatile satin parkas in with ruched pockets and generous sleeves. Sporting a fitted Fay trench in soft suede and cotton, Gershon said she’d just wrapped an indie film in Istanbul called “Five Minarets in New York,” directed by Turkish writer-director Mahsun Kirmizigul. Gershon plays the wife of a Turkish scholar arrested by federal authorities after being wrongfully accused of a crime.
