Front Row at Christian Dior

Fisticuffs broke out in the Tuileries gardens before the Christian Dior show as the arrival of Kate Moss unleashed a paparazzi scrum.

Fisticuffs broke out in the Tuileries Gardens before the Christian Dior show Friday as the arrival of Kate Moss unleashed a paparazzi scrum and left one shutterbug with a bloodied forehead. Rachel Bilson’s entrance was almost sedate by comparison. “It’s not so bad, compared to Kate Moss! It’s just that I can’t see anything,” she said after being blinded by flashes at the entrance to the darkened tent. Moss appeared unfazed as she took in the Hawaiian-inspired show alongside Lou Doillon, Marisa Berenson and Chiling Lin. It was flashback time for Mylène Jampanoï, who recently filmed on the Pacific island in “Hereafter,” directed by Clint Eastwood. “I tried to really take advantage of those moments to learn my craft. He is a true great,” she said.

Doillon brought her own refreshments, unscrewing a small thermos flask to pour herself a drink. The model-cum-actress said she was reprising her performance of Samuel Beckett’s “The Image” at the Théâtre d’Orléans and will be appearing in the H&M Christmas campaign.
