Front Row at Chris Benz

Carmen Electra, Susan Sarandon, Jessica Szohr, Denise Richards and Kelly Osbourne sat front row.

Most actresses discover their favorite labels through their stylists, but not so for Alison Pill. “I met [Chris] through my boyfriend and when I found out he was a designer, I was like ‘That’s amazing,’” said Pill of her go-to red-carpet designer, Chris Benz, at Benz’s presentation on Monday afternoon, though she wasn’t willing to discuss specifics beyond that. “He and my boyfriend know each other through people in New York,” she offered, cryptically. Still, the “Scott Pilgrim vs. the World” starlet was willing to elaborate on her love for Benz’s work. “You can put on one of his dresses and all you need are heels and you are ready to go. That’s what I love about his clothes,” cooed Pill.

Other stars seemed to feel the same way. Carmen Electra, Denise Richards and Susan Sarandon, whose daughter Eva Amurri is a close friend of the designer, were also on hand to see his collection at the David Rubenstein Atrium.
