Style-Savvy Party Hearty at DSquared

Dean and Dan Caten know how to throw a party with the likes of Rachel Zoe, Kristin Cavallari, Perez Hilton and Mary J. Blige in attendance at their soiree.

If there is one thing DSquared's Dean and Dan Caten know how to do — other than design edgy clothing and accessories — it's throw a party. On Tuesday, the twins celebrated the launch of their second eyewear collection with an all-out bash atop their west Chelsea showroom.

Rachel Zoe and husband Rodger Berman were one of the first guests in and out of the VIP area, no doubt rushing off to another fashion event somewhere in the city.

"New York is game-on right now," said a Chanel-clad Zoe. "The energy is back, the designers are happy and it's been an amazing week."

Within minutes, the roped-off area was hopping, with the likes of Hilary Duff — who reported exhaustion after a grueling week shooting "Gossip Girl," — "The Hills" Kristin Cavallari and Perez Hilton dishing on fashion week.

"Last night at Marc was all about the after-after party, which was me, Marc and Gaga all sitting around having an open, truthful conversation about what we do," said Hilton, who appeared to have left his pants at home, wearing only a vintage Mickey Mouse T-shirt and gold lame sneakers. "In some way or another, what we do is all about entertainment, and it's not to be taken seriously."

Having blogged recently regarding the Kanye West/Taylor Swift fall out at Sunday's MTV Video Music Awards, Perez opined that the public will soon move on, because "Kayne is so talented."

Mary J. Blige also made a brief appearance at the party. "I'm loving the circus," she said before she left.

Amerie, Sessilee Lopez and rising talent Chrisette Michele also made appearances later in the evening.
