Dressed to the Nines: Alessia Piovan at Roberto Cavalli

Alessia Piovan is well aware the model-turned-actress path has perils, but she’s not discouraged. “I continue to love fashion, but I’m slowly moving into acting,” said Piovan at the Roberto Cavalli show on Saturday. And she’s starting off with a bang in the much talked about “Nine” flick by Rob Marshall with a cast including Daniel Day Lewis, Nicole Kidman, Penelope Cruz, Marion Cotillard, Kate Hudson and Sophia Loren. “Everyone was incredibly nice. My greatest anxiety came from acting in front of a production of 300 people,” she said.
