Spring Ready-to-Wear 2010

Michael Kors Collection

Front Row at Michael Kors

Though he showed up in Kors' front row, Michael Douglas says when it comes to shopping for himself he prefers to scour the costume department.

Next year, Michael Douglas will appear in “Wall Street 2,” reprising his role as Gordon Gekko who famously believed that “Greed is good”—surely a sentiment that retailers would like to see make a comeback.

“I think Gordon would love fashion,” Douglas said, sitting front row at Michael Kors on Wednesday. "He'd have been in jail long enough, I am sure he would like to see some nice clothes."

When it comes to shopping for himself, he said, he prefers to scour the costume department. “Most of my wardrobe comes for movies that I’ve done. It’s easier than going to the stores.”
