Singer Ayo said the designer sent her a "a bunch of white flowers and such a sweet letter."

FAN MAIL: Kris Van Assche has a way with words. “Kris came to one of my concerts and afterwards sent me a bunch of white flowers and such a sweet letter,” Ayo said at Van Assche’s show on Sunday. The singer is taking a break in Paris before starting work on her third album. “I have chosen the title, but I never say it before it’s ready,” she demurred. Ayo also will star in a documentary, titled “Joy,” due to be released early next year. It documents the search for her roots during the preparations for her first concert in Nigeria, the birth country of her father.

Zoe Cassavetes said she was just about to start a new film project with her sister. “It is a very cool project which will be four separate film shorts…as easy as that sounds,” Cassavetes said, adding she was still hashing out the title.
