Pop icon Janet Jackson headlined the front row at Giorgio Armani, but it was tennis star Roger Federer who caused the biggest racket. "Mr. Armani came to the Davis Cup when Switzerland played against Italy. I told him I was planning a trip to Italy and wanted to return the favor," Federer said, sitting between his wife Mirka and Vogue’s Anna Wintour, who later escorted the couple to Prada.

Chinese actress Ziyi Zhang also took in the Armani show, before shooting a new film. "All I can say is that it's by a very important director who speaks Chinese and English," Zhang teased, adding that the movie will be released worldwide next year. Ang Lee anyone?

Meanwhile, Emma De Caunes, the French actress-cum-deejay, said she was considering her first music album—as if script writing, directing, playing the role as Kiki de Montparnasse in a Man Ray biopic and live stage performances at Théâtre du petit Montparnasse weren't enough to keep her busy. “It’s not a short-term plan but we are working on something,” she said, adding she had finished writing her first feature length film, "Papa Was a Rolling Stone." “I finally was able to write, the end!"

Also there were Internazionale Milan’s summer-signing Cameroon soccer striker Samuel Eto’o, Spanish model Eugenia Silva, and Polish actress Kasia Smutniak, who stars opposite John Travolta in "From Paris With Love," which is due out in February. Smutnik said she was working on a new film with Italian director Carlo Mazzacurati.
