Shaded Lady: Front Row at Dsquared
Some celebrities take hiding behind their sunglasses seriously. At the Dsquared show Monday, Kelly Rowland declared she hadn’t removed hers since New York Fashion Week. Asked whether the Destiny’s Child regrouping rumor was true, Rowland demurred, “I heard that rumor, too.” Television presenter Simona Ventura — Italy’s equivalent to Kelly Ripa — arrived in a towering pair of studded platforms. “The trick to wearing high heels is to get one size too big,” purred Ventura, who just hosted Rowland on her program “Those Who Like Soccer.” Meanwhile, Italian tennis player Filippo Volandri pondered a future career in sportswear design. “I’d wear ripped denim shorts on court,” joked Volandri. “I’m nearing 30 so I have to start thinking about what I’ll do next.”
