DARK MATTER: Actress Amira Casar is sinking her teeth into some dark and juicy roles. She’s currently on stage at the Theatre de l’Odeon in Olivier Py’s “Saturn’s Children,” which deals with such themes as incest, and in her next film, “Gamines,” she plays a “sad mother who tries to hold together a very bad family” – though not at the expense of fashion. “It’s set in the Sixties and Seventies. She tries to keep it looking good,” Casar said Friday morning at Balenciaga.
From “Mères et Filles,” the Julie Lopes-Curval film due out next week, were Catherine Deneuve and Marie-Josée Croze, who plays Deneuve’s mother in the film’s flashbacks.
Statuesque Lily Cole, in the company of actor Enrique Murciano, said she’s returning to her studies this month and is also about to be in Mary Hannon movie. Her role? “Potentially a vampire, but you never know for sure,” she said.
