How many ways can you work a bandage dress? On the surface only a few, but in his collection for Hervé Léger, Max Azria tinkered with the label’s signature to an overall pleasing effect. Surely his Hollywood starlets will scoop up the sexy basics, which he cast in neutrals and Eighties brights and gave cat-scratch cutouts. And the more adventurous may appreciate the subtler allusions to the Léger DNA, including gray leather panel dresses with ombré neon inserts, or the final parade of super-skimpy (and not always flattering) bandage swimwear, that was amusing at the least and chic at best. Look forward, though, to some interesting tan lines on the girls who choose to indulge.
