Orlando Pita, working for T3 at Vera Wang, was aiming for “a very relaxed, easy look — as if the girls quickly twisted the hair up to get it out of the way and decided they liked it that way.”

Pita used a blow-dryer, round brush and T3’s Plump to add body and texture, then created an “imperfect” twist. Pita left about 2 inches free at the top of the twist, which he fashioned into a tiny bun. In keeping with the relaxed feel, Pita eschewed hairspray and pulled a few strands free to frame the face.

Lucia Pieroni, working for Cle de Peau at the show, was “inspired by the jewels” in Wang’s collection. She used metallic silver eye shadow to reflect the light, a touch of foundation on the face — “very light, so skin looks perfect,” she said — and a touch of lip gloss. Black mascara finished the look.

Myrdith McCormick, working for Sally Hansen at the show, used Sally Hansen Diamond Strength Nailpolish in Sheer Magic, a pale white, on fingernails and toes to complete the elegant and simple look.
