Luella's Princesses
“Luella girls are inherently cool,” said makeup artist Hannah Murray, who was working backstage with Shu Uemura. “We wanted to give the look a little polish this season.”
Murray channeled her regal muse through fresh faces and pouts that popped thanks to layers of Drawing Lip Pencil in Red 192.
“It’s so punchy,” said Murray of the strongly colored mouth. “It’s sophisticated but it still has a tough edge.”
Elsewhere on the face, the makeup artist used concealer where needed to mask blemishes.
Guido Palau, who was not present backstage on Monday, dreamed up a number of coifs for the show, including an equestrian plait. Redken stylists used a plethora of products to give hair a dry texture, including Redken Forceful spray, Fabricate and baby powder.
