Eclectic Mix of Palettes at Lacoste
For hair, Bumble and bumble’s Dennis Lanni designed the “club look” around a turban fabric by pinning the hair loosely in a low knot with the wisps of hair spilling out. To re-create a crimped texture without using the actual hair tool for the “sunset look,” Lanni separated the hair into multiple braids and flat-ironed it.
“We wanted to have that dry finish with lots of flyaways,” said Lanni. “Young Mods” was more of a sleek and neat look. The hair was deeply parted on the left side and pulled back in a tight ponytail wrapped in three rubber bands grouped together and positioned off to the right side.
For makeup, Rosemary Swift turned to her new organic makeup line called RMS Beauty, which is scheduled to launch over the next few months. For the “young Mod” and “club look,” Swift was inspired by the Seventies. “Young Mod” was all about the lashes, while the “club look” was about creating a wholesome style by adding details such as freckles topped off by a pale gray shadow and a subtle pink natural lip. For the “sunset theme,” she went for a more sporty look with shiny, sun-kissed cheeks.
