Mizrahi Beauty: Flapper-Inspired

The makeup look at Isaac Mizrahi was inspired by a woman from the Forties.

The makeup look at Isaac Mizrahi was inspired by a woman from the Forties, a lady with translucent skin, sun-kissed cheeks, naked eyes, rosy lips and bushy and dark brows, with a pronounced arch. Key makeup items used by artist Tom Pecheux included Lancôme’s Pixel Pink lipstick, Estée Lauder’s Mix Length Mascara and YSL’s Poudre de Soleil Sun Powder in various shades of bronze.

Hair was styled by Eugene Soleiman, also inspired by Forties and Fifties looks. Hair at the front of the head was rolled up, soft and cute, while the back was grabbed and thrown in a messy bun. “It’s very immediate and elegant, quirky,” said Soleiman. He said he didn’t use any products to achieve the look.
