Inspiration for both the hair and makeup came from the floral prints this season at Behnaz Sarafpour.
Hairstylist Ashley Javier wanted something that expressed femininity along with classicism.
“We wanted to play with the irony of the floral printed dresses so we created these vintage floral headbands,” said Javier, who was working for the official hair sponsor Linea-Pro. For the look, Javier pulled the hair back in a tight low ponytail. He used the Linea-Pro Swarovski Crystal Iron and mini to help give the hair some movement by creating a wave with a straightener. He used Leonor Greyl Serum de Soie Sublimateur to help calm down flyaways.
Makeup artist Charlotte Tilbury, who was sponsored by MAC Cosmetics, was after a romantic and dreamy look that was inspired by things like Renaissance paintings. To create a fresh face, she used concealer only as needed and a lip conditioner. On the eyes, Tilbury used a blend of a silver metallic shade from MAC called Metal X Cyber and a brown cream eye shadow called Dusk. To finish the look, she used brown mascara and a pink blush called Tippy on the cheeks.
Roxanne Valinoti from Creative Nail Design used a custom-blend taupe polish that matched the individual girls skin tone. At the base of the nail near the cuticle, Valinoti had a half-moon shape in a sheer iridescent gold finish.
