Baby Phat by Kimora Lee Simmons/KLS Collection Collection

Cher Chic at Baby Phat
Call it Cher as muse: the Seventies sensation inspired makeup artist James Kaliardos, working for MAC Cosmetics, and Odile Gilbert, working for Linea Pro, at the Baby Phat show at the Roseland Ballroom Friday night.
"I used lots of coral and orange on the cheeks, and surprisingly the girls don't look like drag queens," said Kaliardos with a laugh. He also used plenty of MAC Studio Sculpt and Shape foundation, false lashes on top and bottom lids, plenty of black mascara and a peach lip gloss.
Gilbert kept hair simple, adding human hair extensions when needed and flatironing hair with a Linea Pro iron. A middle part and bangs, and the looks were finished.
"The clothes are chic, so it was important that the hair was chic," said Johnny Wright, who lent a hand using Soft Sheen/Carson products.
