At Anna Sui, makeup artist Pat McGrath said the makeup look was inspired by a natural and sun-kissed glow.
“It’s that sunny and healthy look you get after you’ve got some sun,” said McGrath, who was sponsored by Anna Sui Cosmetics. On the cheeks, McGrath used a blend of a bright orange blush together with bronzer on the apple of the cheeks and across the nose. Also on the cheeks, she applied a metallic pink color. Around the eyes, she used a brown eye shadow with some black mascara on the lashes and white liner in the inside of the eyes. To finish off the look, she applied eight-hour grease on the lids to enhance it and give it a shine. On the lips, she dabbed Anna Sui’s red stain number 400.
Garren, from Garren New York, who did the hair for the show, said his inspiration was taken from a multitude of places.
“I describe it as Egypt-meets-Spain-meets-Mexico — it’s a girl who’s been traveling around the world and has inspiration from each of these places,” said Garren. “It’s reminiscent to Woodstock since it’s that eased-out look and not about demanding hair.”
This look for Garren was all about the natural wave of the hair. To create the style, he parted the hair down the center and let the hair lay in a lanky way. For products, Warren used his Condition Spritz Spray to help control the frizz.
