DREAMBOAT: Among the guests at the Valentino couture show on Wednesday was Louis Garrel, the face of the new Valentino Uomo men’s fragrance.

It turns out the actor is having something of a fashion moment: He plays Jacques de Bascher in Bertrand Bonello’s Yves Saint Laurent biopic “Saint Laurent,” due to hit screens in May.

“It focuses on a very precise period,” said Garrel. “Bonello’s film could be titled ‘The Imaginary Life of Saint Laurent,’ because it’s a way of [reflecting the fact that] the fashion world is a bit of a fantasy, you know what I mean?”

Fans of the French heartthrob can catch him on stage opposite Isabelle Huppert in “Les fausses confidences” at the Odéon — Théâtre de l’Europe until March 23.

Also in attendance was Italian director Luca Guadagnino, who said he would begin production on his next, as-yet-untitled, feature film next month, having suspended his earlier plan to shoot “Body Art,” an adaptation of Don DeLillo’s novel “The Body Artist,” with Isabelle Huppert and Sigourney Weaver.
