Trademark Resort 2015

“We always start with the fabric and think of a new way of using it,” said Pookie Burch, who designs Trademark with her sister Louisa.

“We always start with the fabric and think of a new way of using it,” said Pookie Burch, who designs Trademark with her sister Louisa. For resort, the duo used a coated cotton for a gingham dress and coat, for example. The latter featured X-stitch details, which Pookie Burch said were inspired by artist Wade Guyton’s work. There were also preppy touches via a plaid hooded midi dress. A playful transparent rain jacket featured with red piping. This is the second season for the designers, who are set to open their first store in Manhattan’s SoHo in August.
