Suno Resort 2015

Resort was heavy on embellishments — from delicate embroidery to bold jeweled appliqués and chunky Lucite charms.

“Creating for resort is like making candy — something that people want right away,” said Erin Beatty. The Suno collection that she and Max Osterweis showed had just that appeal thanks to wonderful embellishments — from delicate embroidery to bold jeweled appliqués and chunky Lucite charms. The ornamentation came on simple shapes including sporty leather skirts and tunics in both pink and white; boiled wool jackets and, for a more casual feel, easy chambray and denim dresses. “This season is my favorite,” said Beatty. “I don’t have an inspiration for resort because it imposes limits. We prefer to create a whole wardrobe that feels original and essentially Suno.”
