ALL ABOARD: Dior’s cruise show Wednesday night may have been at the Brooklyn Navy Yard, but the modeling started much earlier on the ferry transporting hundreds of guests across the East River from Manhattan. Alexandra Richards started mugging for a photographer at the back of the ferry, her blonde locks flowing in the chilly wind. The daughter of Keith Richards had been working with a photographer on a behind-the-scenes shoot of herself getting ready for the Dior show.

“She was like, ‘Let’s do it here,’” Richards said referring to her photographer. “All right, let’s go for it. I’m all about making it look real.” She wanted to be clear to onlookers about her messy hair, though: “This is not sex head, it’s just actually windblown.”

Richards was just one of many personalities to have made the trek to Brooklyn on yellow ferries emblazoned with a big “Dior” on the side.

Among the more well-known attendees, those who more likely arrived by car service, were Marion Cotillard, Margot Robbie, Helena Christensen, Allison Williams, Jessica Seinfeld, uber-Brooklynite Maggie Gyllenhaal, Olivia Palermo, Leelee Sobieski, Lauren Remington Platt and Rihanna, who surprisingly arrived promptly after 7 p.m. and was immediately taken to her seat.

“Do you want to take a picture with me?” Richards asked the singer, who was besieged by fans, both famous and not. “We’re neighbors,” Richards trilled of her seat.

The trip to Brooklyn was actually not so unusual for Rihanna.

“You know what, I spent most of my summers in Brooklyn,” she said. “All my life, I grew up coming to Brooklyn. My late grandma and my granddad lived in Brooklyn. He still lives here. So I do make it to Brooklyn a bit whether it’s to see the game or to see my family.”

She paused, and continued: “But now I’m here for fashion, so this is definitely different.”
