It’s all about proportions at St. John resort. George Sharp, executive vice president of design, wants to mix things up and raise some hemlines for what he calls a “younger, leggy” look. The results are shorter skirts paired with tropical wool jackets in the house style and rolled-hem boyfriend trousers shown with cardigans. As for dresses, there are plenty of versatile options for the woman on the go, such as a brunch- or dinner-appropriate red satin number that can be worn to bare one shoulder. Overall, the collection feels fresher and more relaxed.
