Costume National Homme Men's RTW Spring 2015

For spring, Ennio Capasa said he looked for “a sense of liberated elegance,” which he found in the music and style of Mick Jagger, David Bowie and Lou Reed.

For spring, Ennio Capasa said he looked for “a sense of liberated elegance,” which he found in the music and style of Mick Jagger, David Bowie and Lou Reed, his declared idols.

Rock ’n’ roll references harking back to the Seventies are familiar territory for the designer, but Capasa showed more flexibility this season, infusing his rebellious, retro aesthetic with bolder colors and more sensual silhouettes. Monochromatic looks, including loosely tailored shirts in crepe de chine and flared, elongated trousers in plum and burnt orange, looked fresh and cool.
