Christopher Raeburn Men's RTW Spring 2015

This powerful, polished collection took its cue from an Arizona repository for old Air Force jets.

This powerful, polished collection took its cue from an Arizona repository for old Air Force jets known as the Boneyard, and it was filled with references to flight on both tailored and sporty clothing.

Black mesh tops and leather bombers were dotted with what looked like playing cards, each bearing a different aircraft motif, while sweatshirts bore military diagrams, including one of a pilot’s helmet. Black airplane silhouettes, meanwhile, had been heat-fused — to dramatic effect — onto sharp, tailored gray jackets.

Christopher Raeburn’s unadorned looks were slick, too: cuffed, wide-legged trousers and short, boxy military style jackets. A dense floral print blossomed across lightweight hoodies, bombers, and backpacks, while flashes of orange mesh enlivened outerwear fashioned from dark green nylon.
