In his first full men’s collection for the brand, design director Pablo Coppola focused on beloved wardrobe items — with a Bally twist. “There’s no concept. It’s the ideal modern man’s wardrobe — not too fashion forward — and the pieces should feel familiar,” he said.

Roomy leather totes were inspired by L.L. Bean’s classic cotton canvas bags; vegetable dyed leather varsity jackets are meant to wear in like baseball gloves; while the chunky, ridged soles on leather monk strap shoes were swiped from hiking boots in the Bally archive.

Adding to the laid-back feel were unlined tailored pieces — such as a Prince of Wales check suit — and fluid knit polo tops bearing Bally’s signature stripe done in black and white. Color played a starring role with patchwork leather sneakers minted in a rainbow of pastel shades, two-tone briefcases and overnight bags in a palette of emerald, eggplant, mustard and midnight blue.
