Front Row at Carven

Christine and the Queens and Joe Jonas attended the show.

PET SOUNDS: Rising French singer-songwriter Héloïse Letissier, better known by her stage name Christine and the Queens, is branching out into fashion. Longchamp revealed this week that it was using her track “Wandering Lovers” on the soundtrack of the short film accompanying its fall ad campaign.

“This was the first time someone has chosen one of my songs to illustrate a fashion campaign,” Letissier said at the Carven men’s show in Paris on Wednesday. “I would also be interested in a collaboration, like perhaps writing the music for a fashion short film or advertisement, but that is not something I have tried my hand at yet.”

Hot on the heels of her critically acclaimed first album “Chaleur humaine” (“Human Warmth”), Christine and the Queens will perform at a series of summer festivals in France before starting a national tour next fall.

Also attending the show were Joe Jonas, director and actress Géraldine Nakache, singer Mohini Geisweiller and actor Andy Gillet.
