BURBERRY FRONT ROW: Despite its affection for rain, Burberry opted for an open-air tent in the middle of a park for its spring men’s collection. “I knew Christopher Bailey was really clever but I didn’t know he was this talented,” David Furnish said, referring to the glorious sunshine. “You couldn’t ask for a more beautiful summer’s day in an open-top marquee.”

Furnish is producing a follow up to his “Gnomeo and Juliet” animation called “Sherlock Gnomes,” but when asked if he’s managed to tap Benedict Cumberbatch, star of massive BBC TV series, “Sherlock,” to voice the lead, he declined to be drawn. “He’s a very talented, big-name actor,” was all he would reveal.

Model David Gandy said he’s designing a premium range of men’s underwear for Marks & Spencer that he’ll be modeling, too, à la David Beckham for H&M. As to which line will prove more popular? “One in four guys wear M&S,” was Gandy’s reply.

Also sitting front row was model Jourdan Dunn — a first for her at a Burberry show. “I’ve always walked but never been as a guest before,” she said.

“Belle” actor Sam Reid said his next film, “The Riot Club,” based on notorious Oxford University dining society, The Bullingdon Club, is out in September. “We actually wore a lot of Burberry in the film,” he confided. “Those Bullingdon boys were always immaculately dressed.”
