Liverpool-born Shannon looked to the vibrant, no-holds-barred club scene in the north of England to inspire his high-octane outing.
Liverpool-born Shannon looked to the vibrant, no-holds-barred club scene in the north of England to inspire his high-octane outing. There was lots of plastic, PVC, glitter, neon, and nylon Liberty print, the latter produced exclusively for the designer by the London store. Techno, rave-ready and performance fabrics in a Day-Glo palette were the stars of the show, as in the trio of closing looks featuring translucent rubber shirts in lime, hot pink, and orange paired with matching shorts in super shiny PVC. Denim shorts came paneled with two waistbands that looked as though the models were wearing two pairs, or layered over longer, sheer trousers. Glitter in the models’ hair played up the fun clubby vibe.
