FRENCH LESSONS: Carl Barât took the early Eurostar from London to take in Kenzo’s men’s wear show, but said he would soon be calling Paris home. “I’ll be moving over here for a few months next year,” said the British rocker. “I’ve got a theater project coming up in France, but I’m not allowed to talk about it.” Barât said he had not been to visit his former Libertines bandmate Peter Doherty in jail, where he is serving time for possession of drugs. “I haven’t received an invitation yet,” he said sardonically. The two have had a famously love-hate relationship since Doherty robbed Barât’s flat in 2003. Barât, who released his first solo album last October to mixed reviews, said he was working on a follow-up and trying his hand at writing screenplays.
